Music Technician - Superb opportunity available in Ealing

Are you a skilled Music Technician with a passion for sound, creativity, and education? A thriving secondary school in Ealing is seeking a talented Music Technician to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Music Technician responsible for maintaining, setting up and troubleshooting all sound and music equipment across the department.
  • Provide sound engineering support for major school events, concerts, and productions in Ealing.
  • Manage the organisation of peripatetic (peri) music lessons - scheduling, communication and follow-up.
  • Liaise effectively with teaching staff, students, and parents to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the music department.
  • Handle invoicing and administrative tasks for peri music lessons.
  • Ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly maintained, logged, and ready for use
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Music Technician or sound engineer (school or professional setting).
  • Excellent understanding of audio equipment, recording software, and live sound mixing.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and visiting peri teachers.
