A reputable education provider in Nottingham is seeking a Music Teacher to inspire students with fun and engaging music lessons. No formal teaching qualifications are required. Ideal candidates are passionate about music and skilled in leading groups, making music accessible for young learners. This role offers a daily rate of £110 and is contracted for Tuesdays to Thursdays, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, starting in November 2025.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and engaging Music Tutor to teach KS1 & KS2 pupils the fundamentals of music, rhythm, and performance. No formal teaching qualifications are required—just a love for music, confidence leading groups, and strong communication skills!

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Delivering fun and interactive music lessons, introducing children to different musical styles and techniques.
  • Teaching singing, rhythm, and basic music theory in an engaging way.
  • Leading sessions using instruments such as keyboards, guitars, percussion, or recorders (depending on your expertise).
  • Encouraging creativity and confidence through music composition, group performances, and improvisation.
  • Managing classroom behaviour to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, school staff, and colleagues.
  • Providing feedback on student progress using TeachTool.
