Music Teacher – The Role

A secondary school based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire is seeking a creative and committed Music Teacher to join their department from April, initially on a long-term basis until July 2026, with the view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons, and contributing to performances, enrichment, and the wider life of the department. The ability to offer Music at KS5 would be a strong advantage, but is not essential. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive day rate of £170 to £250, dependent on experience.
