About the Role

We are excited to partner with an Ofsted rated Good further education college in South Yorkshire to find a talented Music Teacher to work within their Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) faculty. This role offers the chance to deliver muted but meaningful musical experiences to students, fostering creativity, confidence and progress.

You will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions across a variety of instruments guitar, drums, keyboard, bass, vocals and others.
• Use your experience as a musician (performing or training), music teacher or band member to inspire learners.
• Adapt teaching styles to meet the diverse needs of SEND students, supporting their personal and musical development.
• Maintain strong relationships, assessing progress and contributing to curriculum development.

Person Specification

• Able to play and teach multiple instruments (guitar, drums, keyboard, bass, vocals) with confidence.
• Experienced in planning and delivering engaging, structured sessions especially within SEND settings.
• Adaptable, patient and committed to helping students achieve their potential.
• Passionate about music and youth education, ideally with insight into performing, teaching or band experience.
