This maternity cover role runs from November 2025 to July 2026, teaching across KS3 to KS5 and delivering engaging lessons that foster creativity and performance. Music Teacher - Cannock Area - November Start - Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an inspiring Music Teacher who loves bringing the classroom to life through creativity, performance, and enthusiasm?

Academics are looking for a talented and motivated Music Teacher to join a vibrant Secondary School in the Cannock area on a maternity cover contract running from November 2025 through to July 2026.

You'll be teaching across KS3 to KS5, delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to explore their full musical potential - from composing and performing to understanding the theory behind it.

Responsibilities
  • Teach across KS3 to KS5, delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to explore their full musical potential—from composing and performing to understanding the theory behind it.
What you'll need
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Music at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable).
  • A creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and delivery.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive, encouraging presence.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for helping young people build confidence through music.
