Site Manager - Bristol/Cheltenham

We are hiring a dynamic and hands‑on Site Manager for our studios in Bristol & Cheltenham. At Pirate, we want every customer to enjoy our studios to the fullest, creating a welcoming, inspiring, and safe space for creativity to thrive and as a Site Manager, you’ll be at the heart of this mission. You’ll ensure our studios meet high standards, offer a great customer experience, and run efficiently. You’ll balance smooth operations, growing revenue, controlling costs, while ensuring health and safety compliance.

Overview
  • Studio Operations: Oversee daily studio operations, manage equipment, and work with contractors and staff to keep things running smoothly.
  • Equipment Repairs: Keep equipment running smoothly with regular checks, troubleshoot and fix issues on the spot, and liaise with Stock Control & Repairs for any additional repairs.
  • Customer Experience: Be the on‑the‑ground face of Pirate Studios, gather customer feedback, make improvements, and collaborate with our Artist Support Team to ensure every visit runs smoothly.
  • People Management: Lead a small team of Studio Assistants and cleaners, ensuring they have the tools, training, and support to thrive.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for artists, staff, and contractors by ensuring all compliance tasks and safety regulations are followed.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in site operations management.
  • Passion about providing exceptional customer service and a love for music and creative spaces.
  • A natural multitasker with excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organisational abilities. You can think on your feet and remain calm under pressure.
  • Outgoing, friendly, and approachable – a brilliant people manager who knows what it takes to build and retain happy teams.
  • Willingness to work a complete mix of weekdays and weekends.
  • Ability to travel between Cheltenham and Bristol weekly; access to a car would be beneficial.
  • Bonus points if you have experience in musical equipment repairs.
Compensation & Benefits

This is a full‑time position of 37.5 hours per week on a salary of £28,605 per year.
