Job summary

Magisters is seeking a part-time Music HLTA for a mainstream primary school in Willesden (NW10). The role covers delivering music to classes, leading activities, and supporting teaching across year groups. Immediate start, three days per week (Mon-Wed), 8:30am-3:30pm, £130-£150 per day.

The ideal candidate will have HLTA experience, a music background, strong classroom management, and excellent communication to promote pupil engagement and high learning standards across the curriculum.

We are currently working with a friendly and supportive mainstream primary school in Willesden (NW10) who are looking to appoint an experienced HLTA with a MUSIC BACKGROUND to join their team on a long-term basis.

The Role:

• Deliver music lessons to full classes across all primary year groups
• Lead lessons and learning activities
• Support teaching and learning across the school
• Manage classroom behaviour and daily routines
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement

About You:

• Previous HLTA experience is essential
• Must have a music background
• Experience covering full classes independently
• Confident working across all primary year groups
• Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Days: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm

Pay: £130-£150 per day
