Music & Communication Therapist

Location: Thriftwood School & College Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: LGPS Scale 9, Point 29

Contract Type: Part-time (3 days per week), Permanent - Term time only

Start Date: 5th January 2026

We are seeking a passionate and creative Music & Communication Therapist to join our dedicated team, supporting learners in Key Stage 2, 3 and 4 with moderate learning difficulties and additional complex needs. The successful candidate will use music-based interventions to promote emotional well‑being, communication, social interaction, and cognitive development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

This role will operate across our School site in Galleywood and our College site in Chelmsford.
