Overview

Role: This role will help the RNLI save lives at sea by informing people about the lifesaving work carried out today by selfless volunteers just like Henry Blogg.

Responsibilities
  • Display and restock unique lifeboat products in the shop in an attractive and eye catching way
  • Interact with customers and provide an excellent level of customer service
  • Provide information about the museum and the surrounding areas to the visitors
  • Operate the till, credit card machine and package products
  • Work with RNLI team members to give the best possible service and maximise sales

Training will be provided to ensure you are prepared for your new role. This is a perfect opportunity to meet new people within your local community, gain valuable skills, to give back to your community and join a team of motivated people.

About the organisation

Our volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour rescue service in the UK and Ireland, and our seasonal lifeguards look after people on busy beaches. Our Flood Rescue Team helps those affected by flooding.
