A health service provider in England is seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join a small team. The role involves providing assessment and management for musculoskeletal conditions, supporting student development, and assisting in service management. The ideal candidate must comply with the Enhanced DBS check. Applications requiring sponsorship are ineligible.

• Assist in the management of the Physiotherapy Service.

Job description

You will be joining a small team that includes a physiotherapy assistant and an administrator. For training and supervision you will link with the physiotherapy team at Bridport who are currently providing the clinics at Portland.

Main Responsibilities

• To work autonomously to provide skilled assessment and treatment/management for a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including those with complex needs. Referrals are received from GP, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, MIU/A+E, self referral and other NHS colleagues. When appropriate onward referral to other services may be required.
• To support the development of students and other colleagues. This will include being a student educator and being involved in In-house training.
• To assist the Team Lead in the management of the Physiotherapy Service i.e triage, service development.
