Job summary

Belmont Recruitment are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across occupied and void properties in the borough of Bury.

You'll join a responsive repairs team, undertaking joinery tasks and supporting secondary trades, with emphasis on safety, quality workmanship and customer service to residents. A valid UK driving licence and your own tools are essential for this temporary role.

Qualifications

• Time-served joiner with relevant qualifications.
• Previous experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to undertake a range of secondary trade duties including basic plumbing, tiling, plaster patching and general maintenance.
• Good customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance to occupied and void properties across the borough of Bury.
• Diagnosing and resolving repair issues on the first visit where possible.
• Undertaking joinery works alongside secondary trade duties (basic plumbing, tiling, plaster patching, general maintenance).
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

This role involves carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance works to occupied and void properties across the borough of Bury. A company vehicle will be provided, with ongoing work available.

Overview

You will join a responsive repairs team, undertaking a range of joinery repairs and maintenance works across a varied housing portfolio. The role will also involve carrying out secondary trade duties, diagnosing repair issues and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while providing excellent customer service to tenants.
