About the Role

Sustaining and improving equipment reliability and efficiency, you’ll help create innovative maintenance systems, supporting the development of performance measures and yearly maintenance plans.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off – 2 days from 6am to 6pm, 2 nights from 6pm to 6am, and 4 days off.

What You’ll Get Involved In
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PPM) programs.
  • Commission new projects and integrate them into operations.
  • Use planning tools and CMMS systems to organise weekly tasks and improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Support cross‑skilling initiatives to expand operators’ skillsets (lubrication, changeovers, inspections, minor repairs).
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long‑term solutions.
  • Manage spare parts and purchasing systems, and conduct criticality and obsolescence assessments.
  • Apply continuous improvement tools such as 5S, TPM, Asset Management and Kaizen.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 4/HNC in Electrical Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition Electrical Qualification, or alternatively, completion of a fully indentured multi‑discipline apprenticeship (Mechanical and Electrical).
  • Advanced PLC fault finding and problem solving skills.
