Job summary

First Choice Homes Oldham is seeking a Multi Skilled Plasterer to join our Property Care team in Oldham. This full-time, permanent role covers plastering repairs, maintenance, and related tasks across our homes and contracts, with 37 hours per week plus out-of-hours on-call.

You will work independently, complete tiling and finishing work, manage materials, and follow health and safety practices. A NVQ Level 2 in Plastering and a full UK driving licence are required, with up-to-date

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent experience) is required.
• Experience with repairs and maintenance in occupied properties.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Use handheld technology/PDAs to update repair records.
• Professional communication with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Hold a full clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to join the out-of-hours call-out rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality responsive plastering repairs and maintenance work.
• Complete repairs such as tiling, skirting boards and finishing work as needed.
• Support first-time fixes where possible.
• Perform damp and mould washes and treatments per procedures.
• Diagnose repair issues, inspect workmanship and propose solutions.
• Work respectfully in customers' homes and provide a positive experience.
• Manage materials, tools and equipment efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety legislation and safe work practices.
