Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled MET Technician to join a modern accident repair environment. You will perform mechanical, electrical and trim repairs on accident-damaged vehicles, showcasing versatility and high-quality workmanship.

This full-time, permanent role offers a Monday–Friday 08:30–17:00 schedule, no weekend work, and earning potential up to £52,000 OTE depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Multi-Skilled MET Technician in an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and trim knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose faults and resolve repair issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical, electrical and trim removal and refitting on accident-damaged vehicles.
• Complete complex strip and refit work using manufacturer repair methods.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and identify correct repair requirements.
• Carry out repairs and checks involving suspension, steering, braking and related systems.
• Work with other technicians to maintain efficient vehicle throughput.
• Identify additional damage or repair requirements and communicate with the team.
