Job summary

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Sheffield. A permanent position is available with an immediate start subject to interview.

The role offers a 38-hour week on a rotating shift, with a salary of £43,719.50 per annum, and a focus on maintaining plant and equipment, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement. CMMS knowledge is beneficial for this role.

Qualifications

• Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Maintenance qualification.
• PLC fault-finding and DC motor control experience desired.
• Understanding of 3 phase electrical equipment.
• Strong Health and Safety knowledge.
• Maintenance principles and failure prevention mindset.
• Ability to plan for projects and maintenance works.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plant and equipment on site.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and follow up actions.
• Repair equipment and minimise downtime.
• Support new project implementation and equipment installation.
• Appraise equipment condition and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Head of Maintenance for planning.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture; CMMS knowledge.
