Vibe Recruit is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Port Talbot to mechanically and electrically maintain CNC machines, servos, motors, control panels and operator interfaces. The role offers a competitive salary and a favourable benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proactive and reactive maintenance of a wide range of machinery including CNC machines and control panels.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical faults on servos, motors and machine interfaces.
• Maintenance of PLC-controlled systems and related automation to minimise downtime.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for proactive and reactive maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure including CNC machine tools, servos, motors, control panels, and operator interfaces.
• Fault find, diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on servos, motors, drives, control panels, and machine interfaces.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Support and maintain PLC-controlled systems and other automation where required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs and reports; order and manage spare parts and stock levels.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety regs, including safe isolation and risk assessments.
• Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine reliability and safety.
