Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing site in Milton Keynes. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance and provide technical support to keep operations running smoothly.

The role involves Panama 3’s and 2’s shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) with on-site responsibilities, CMMS/PMS usage, and a focus on 5S and continuous improvement. A recognised engineering apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience in maintenance within the manufacturing industry.
• Multiskilled engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Fault diagnosis and repair of mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Preventive maintenance and CMMS entry.
• Provide technical support and source parts from OEMs.
• Lead investigations using root cause methods.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators.
• Drive continuous improvement and long-term solutions.
• Utilise PMS to prioritise tasks and analyze root causes.
• Support 5S initiatives for organised workplaces.
