Northern is seeking an on-site engineer to maintain and service rolling stock across a rotating shift pattern. The role involves fault finding, diagnostics and hands-on maintenance to keep trains safe and reliable.
You will work with an engineering team on electrical systems, mentor apprentices, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to RSSB safety standards.

SALARY: £51,575 per annum (including shift allowance)

As part of our engineering team at Northern, you’d play a hands-on role in maintaining the trains that thousands of customers rely on every single day.
