Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Biggleswade

Shift: Panama days and Night

Salary: £54k + 5% bonus + Benefit

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Multi-Skilled Mechanical & Electrical Shift Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support production operations by ensuring equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, plant, and facilities.
  • Diagnose and repair faults using root cause analysis to minimise downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Work safely by applying sound engineering principles and safe systems of work (e.g., isolations, Permit to Work, Risk Assessment).
  • Provide technical expertise and mentoring to operators, apprentices, and junior engineers.
