Job summary

Velocity Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Handyman to support day-to-day operations on a large occupied site in the United Kingdom. You will perform multi-trade maintenance, respond to reactive requests, and coordinate with contractors and the facilities team to keep services running smoothly.

You will carry out minor repairs, inspections, and safety checks, with a focus on customer service and quick issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding in property/building maintenance.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Multiskilled with knowledge in multiple trades.
• Sound understanding of health and safety practices.
• Legionella experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal/external post and site communications.
• Provide inductions for contractors and visitors.
• Liaise with team and contractors to complete reactive jobs.
• Raise issues with the Regional Manager and chase faults.
• Represent Facilities Management and deliver high customer service.
• Escalate building/service concerns to the appropriate teams.
