Qualifications

About the Role

Paradigm Housing Group is seeking a skilled and adaptable Multiskilled Carpentry Repairs Technician to join our Property Services team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in carpentry and plumbing along with additional trade skills who takes pride in delivering high quality maintenance work to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance across our housing portfolio working independently and to a high standard.
  • Perform tasks across at least three trades with carpentry and plumbing as the primary focus.
  • Ensure first‑time fixes and maintain excellent customer care throughout.
  • Update job details into the provided table to track and log all works completed.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants and colleagues.
  • Manage van stock and use materials responsibly.
  • Support apprentices or junior staff when required.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours on‑call rota.
Qualifications
  • Relevant qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in carpentry and plumbing with additional trade experience.
  • Good understanding of building regulations and health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
  • Full valid driving licence.

  • Commitment to delivering outstanding service to residents.
