Job summary

Glenholme Healthcare Ltd in Ely is seeking a flexible General Assistant to join Glenholme Senior Living Vera James House. This multi-skilled role supports care home operations across housekeeping, laundry, catering and general services.

Your duties include assisting with meals, laundry, and care support when needed, with shifts across days and nights. DBS check is required and full induction/training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home.
• Assist with residents' laundry and linen.
• Support kitchen team with preparing, serving and clearing meals.
• Help with general duties around the service.
• Support residents as a Care Assistant when required.
• Work flexibly across departments and shift patterns (day/night).
