Job summary

FMG RS in Ipswich is seeking a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join our busy workshop. The role involves panel beating, body repair work and Strip & Fit duties, with support to cover Mobile Technician tasks when colleagues are away.

The position offers an excellent earnings potential with a complex benefits package and uncapped bonus schemes. You will work with insurers and partner groups, contributing to high-quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Qualified Panel Technician or Panel Beater
• Experience as Bodyshop Repair Technician preferred
• Ability to cover Mobile Technician duties when on leave

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles at Ipswich workshop for insurers
• Cover Mobile Technician duties during holidays or absence
• Work with insurance contracts and partner sites to deliver quality repairs
• Aim for high quality, efficient panel beating and body repairs

Join the UK’s largest repair group in this fantastic opportunity, as a Multiskilled Technician at our busy workshop in Ipswich.

If you are a qualified Panel Technician, Panel Beater, Bodyshop Repair Technician and looking for the next step in your career, we would love to hear from you! The emphasis on skils required for this particular position would ideally be an experienced Panel Beater with Strip & Fit experience. In addition we would require you to cover our Mobile Technician when on leave.

The workshop in Ipswich works mainly for our insurance contractual partners and our sister companies, Northgate Vehicle Hire and Auxillis. With a team of 7 other technicians, you will be supported by an additional colleagues allowing you to do what you do best. With a stream of work to the site you will have great potential bonus earnings.
