Job summary

Heathrow-based forwarder is seeking an Import Freight Account Manager to manage end-to-end imports shipments, coordinating air, road and seafreight with overseas agents and customers for timely delivery.

You will handle documentation, customs entries and invoicing, while maintaining high service standards and professional client interaction. Hybrid post-probation, generous holiday allowance and discretionary bonus accompany a clear progression path.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience in a start-to-finish role in Air Freight Imports.
• Customs entry experience.
• Excellent telephone manner and English communications (verbal & written).
• Computer literate – good level on Microsoft Word/Excel.
• In-house system – use of Cargowise One is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate worldwide multimodal imports with end-to-end responsibility.
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
• Process import documentation and submissions, including customs entries.
• Liaise with shippers, importers, agents and clients to ensure delivery.
• Provide quotations, pricing and invoicing support.
