If you’re looking for a career that will help you stand out, join HSBC, and fulfil your potential - whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or simply take you in an exciting new direction, HSBC offers opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.

HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with operations in 64 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Multimedia Editor.

Under the guidance of the Head of Creative & Production, you will be responsible for the ideation, creation and production of multimedia projects (photography, animation, design, audio) to enhance brand reputation, drive engagement and support HSBC’s strategic priorities.

As an HSBC employee in the UK, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

In This Role You Will
  • Work closely with the Senior Creative Producers to plan, film, edit and produce best in class, high-quality, high-impact multimedia content (in line with brand guidelines) for HSBC’s external and internal channels (Group social media channels, hsbc.com and Group Intranet).
  • Work with stakeholders across the business and with channel experts to craft and deliver insight-driven, strategically relevant and on-brand content tailored for use across Group channels.
  • Support multimedia projects from briefing stage through to publishing, working closely with the creative team, agency partners and channels owners to produce high quality work that meets the brief.
  • Attend shoots in the UK and overseas, filming with customers, colleagues and senior executives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Strong post‑production video editing skills with an emphasis on Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Excellent and distinctive shooting style with expert level experience using professional cameras.
  • Ability to use high production value lighting to enhance single/multi‑camera interview setups.
  • Specialised ability to take still pictures using DSLR technology.
  • Demonstrable creative flair and strong storytelling techniques through film and video, understanding short form content across different channel types.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead creative briefs, elevate when necessary, generate innovative ideas and lead creative treatments for clients/stakeholders, produce high‑quality multimedia content, showcase talent through a strong portfolio, and quickly learn new software to accomplish projects.
  • Familiar with audio formats including small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi‑track and waveform editing.
  • Ability to work and deliver multiple tasks/projects.

This role is based in London, Hybrid.
