Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative

Location: Kent

Salary: £35,000 £45,000 PA, dependent on experience and competencies

Type: Permanent

Company Overview

We are working with a leading contractor specialising in property maintenance across Kent. Due to our client winning a new contract, they are looking to appoint a skilled Carpenter / Multi-Trade Operative to join their established team.

Role Description

This is a site-based role involving a mix of planned and reactive maintenance (occupied and unoccupied properties). The ideal candidate will have a carpentry bias, with additional skills in general multi-trade works.

• Vans are loaded with materials, and the day s works are discussed with senior management.
• Daily schedules are shared no later than 5:00 PM the day before.
• Working hours are 08:00 AM 16:00 PM, with:
  • A 30-minute lunch break
  • Two 15-minute tea breaks (morning and afternoon)

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 08:00 AM 16:00 PM

Requirements

• Driving Licence Essential
• Must be competent in Carpentry (primary trade) with general Multi-Trade skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must provide copies of relevant certifications/competencies prior to start
