Job summary

MMP Consultancy is recruiting a Multi Skilled Plumber in Manchester City Centre. The role requires strong multi-trade skills and involves reactive and planned maintenance, high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Working hours are fixed: 4 weekdays 11:30am-8:00pm, Saturdays 8:30am-4:00pm, with one weekday and Sunday off. A driving licence and hand tools are required for interview and duties.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Plumbing.
• Experience in maintenance or facilities environment.
• Strong multi-trade skills and general repairs.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Own hand tools for interview assessment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance works.
• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults efficiently.
• Completing a range of multi-skilled maintenance tasks.
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed.
• Driving a transit van across Manchester City Centre locations.

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Plumber on behalf of a well-established employer based in Manchester City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumber with strong multi-trade skills to join a busy maintenance team offering a competitive salary and stable employment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plumbing and maintenance tasks, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Working Hours

• 4 weekdays per week: 11:30am - 8:00pm

• Saturdays: 8:30am - 4:00pm

• 1 weekday and Sunday off each week

• Shift pattern is fixed with no flexibility on start or finish times

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance works

• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing faults efficiently

• Completing a range of associated multi-skilled maintenance tasks

• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

• Providing excellent customer service at all times

• Maintaining accurate records of work completed

• Driving a transit van when required across Manchester City Centre locations

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Plumbing

• Previous experience within a maintenance or facilities environment

• Strong multi-trade skills and experience carrying out general repairs

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

• Good communication and customer service skills
