Job summary

MMP Consultancy is seeking a Multi Trade Plumber to join a Social Housing contractor on a permanent basis, covering Croydon and surrounding areas. You will work in occupied properties delivering reactive repairs and high-quality service to residents.

Responsibilities include leaks repair, taps/toilets/sinks replacement, pipework fixes, and basic multi-trade tasks with strict safety and customer focus. A van, fuel card, and smartphone allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working within social housing properties.
• Qualified or time-served plumber with relevant tickets or equivalent training.
• Own basic hand and power tools required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Smartphone to receive and manage job tickets via an app.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties.
• Repair leaks, replace taps, toilets, and sinks; handle pipework repairs.
• Undertake basic multi-trade tasks (carpentry, tiling, patch plastering, painting).
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service to residents and ensure safety standards.
• Optional participation in out-of-hours call-out work.

Multi Trade Plumber

Salary: £38,000 to £40,500 per year
Location: Croydon and surrounding areas
Hours: 08:00 to 17:00
Workload: Up to 7 jobs per day
Contract: Permanent

Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Plumber to join a Social Housing Contractor on a permanent basis, covering Croydon and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will work within occupied social housing properties, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties.

Complete a variety of plumbing works including:

• Repairing leaks
• Replacing taps, toilets, and sinks
• Pipework repairs
• Fault finding and general plumbing maintenance

Undertake associated multi-trade tasks such as:

• Basic carpentry
• Tiling
• Patch plastering
• Painting and decorating

Provide a professional and customer-focused service to residents.

Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Optional participation in out-of-hours call-out work.
