Job summary

Clarion Housing Group is seeking a skilled Trade Operative to join our South London maintenance team. The role covers a broad range of trades including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, kitchen and bathroom fitting, tiling and flooring, delivering first‑class service on our properties.

You will conduct maintenance, responsive repairs, void works and property MOTs, working to deadlines and maintaining customer care. A valid UK driving licence is required, and eligibility to work in the UK applies.

Qualifications

• Experienced in multiple trades with ability to handle carpentry, plumbing, plastering, kitchen & bathroom fitting, tiling and flooring.
• Reliable, customer‑focused trades operative with a proactive approach.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence and be able to operate a company vehicle.
• Eligible to work in the UK; Basic Disclosure/ CRB checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of maintenance and responsive repairs.
• Perform void works and property MOTs across the South London region.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide high‑quality customer care on site.

Salary: £34,359 - £42,759 plus eligibility for £125 monthly London Allowance, Van, Tools, Company Bonus Scheme and regular overtime

Location: South London

Hours: 40 hours per week

We’re looking for a Trade Operative with experience in multiple trades to join our team!!!

We’re looking for someone who can deliver a first class service to our properties covering the South London region.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance, responsive repairs, void works & property MOTs connected with all aspects of their specialist trades and any secondary trades. The works shall be carried out in an efficient way and completed within required deadlines.

If you’re a reliable, experienced trade operative with skills in carpentry, plumbing, plastering, kitchen and bathroom fitting, tiling and flooring and can provide good customer care we want to hear from you.

As an operative working in the London Region, you’ll be eligible to receive an additional monthly non-contractual London Weighting Allowance of £125.

You must hold a valid UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided for work use only.
