Job description

Multi Trade Operative

Location: Windsor, Berkshire and surrounding areas.

Salary: £37,425 per annum + Work Vehicle + Fuel Allowance.

We are currently looking for a highly proficient and certified Multi-Trade Operative to join a prominent housing association within their Planned Maintenance Unit on a social housing agreement. Your primary function will be the exclusive execution of extensive maintenance, repair, and installation tasks specifically within Vacant Properties (Voids), ensuring their prompt return to a high-quality standard ready for new occupancy.

Job Scope

You will be engaged in the full renovation of empty homes, with core duties including:

• Complete Kitchen and Bathroom fitting/replacement.
• Diverse trade repairs, encompassing Joinery, Plumbing, and general remedial tasks to elevate the property to the required level.
• Operating effectively to satisfy strict property turnover periods and hand-over deadlines.

Key Requirements

• Certification: Must possess an approved vocational certification such as an NVQ Level 2 or a City & Guilds in a main trade (e.g., Joinery, Plumbing, Bricklaying).
• Experience: Substantial, demonstrable experience as a Multi-Trade Operative, with a focus on void/vacant property refurbishment or residential planned maintenance projects.
• Versatility: Proven capability to deliver high-calibre work across a range of disciplines.
• Mobility: A current, full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.
