Responsibilities

• Carry out planned/reactive maintenance in social housing properties.
• Work in a mixture of tenanted and void properties.
• Carpentry works will be primary, with basic plumbing, painting, and tiling as well.
• Carry out snagging works after installations.

Position: Multi Trade Operative (Carpentry Bias)

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Macclesfield

Contract: Permanent (PAYE)

Bonuses: Pension, Holiday Allowance

Think Recruitment are currently looking for a skilled Multi Trade Operative based local to Macclesfield to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across Social Housing properties across Birmingham with some travel to Derby & Leicester.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out Planned / Reactive Maintenance withing social housing properties across the Midlands.
• You will be working in a mixture of Tenanted and Void properties.
• Carpentry works will be the primary job, but you will also need to carry out basic Plumbing, Painting and Tiling.
• You will also be required to carry out Snagging works once New Kitchens / Bathrooms have been installed.

Experience / Skills required:

• Experience in a similar role within domestic properties.
• Experience within Social Housing / Local Authority properties is desirable.
• Diving licence is essential as you will be required to carry out a mobile role.
• You will be required to have a full DBS carried out if successful, the DBS would need to be clear to be considered.
• Carpentry Qualifications would be advantageous.

Hours:

40 Hours, Full Time.
