Multi-Trader - Refurbishment & Maintenance (Social Housing)

North & South London

Salary

£31,000 - £34,000 per annum

Contract Type

Full-Time, Permanent

The Role

The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment works on social housing contracts, including both planned and responsive projects.

Typical Duties

• Disrepair and damp works
• Kitchen, bathroom, and wet room installations
• Decorating and finishing works
• Door and window repairs or replacements
• Cap and Cove wet room flooring (including hot welds)
• Brickwork, rendering, and plastering
• Vinyl and carpet floor coverings
• General building and investigative works

All works are carried out in line with NHF Schedule of Rates, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trader or similar role within social housing refurbishment and maintenance
• Competence across a range of trades such as plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling, and decorating
• Ability to work independently and deliver a high standard of workmanship
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism when working in occupied homes
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and site compliance requirements

Essential Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• Asbestos Awareness certification
• Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
