Salary : £TBC per annum

Hours : 37.5 hours per week, no weekends

Location : Aldershot

Your Role

You will support the Capital Project Team’s (CPT) initiatives by providing skilled labour resources to ensure the new CPT-aligned business meets its obligations related to Temporary Works, Permit to Disturb the Ground, and other future procedures.

You will assist with a variety of activities across the CPT business, including Minor New Works funding projects, Project Silk investigations, and any pre-construction investigative works required prior to placing purchase orders or engaging subcontractors within the supply chain.

You will operate MEWPs, forklifts, manage CPT stock of Heras fencing, and carry out opening-up investigations to support pre-construction and Project Silk.

You will adopt and comply with ADSL QHSE policies and procedures.

You will not interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health, safety, or environmental protection.

You will report all health and safety defects, near misses, dangerous occurrences, and spillages to the ADSL Helpdesk.

What We’re Looking For
Qualifications

You must hold CPCS / IPAF MEWP Operator and CPCS Telehandler Operator certifications and have diverse experience within the construction industry. You must also hold, or be eligible for, MoD Security Clearance.

Experience

You should have proven experience working as a multiskilled labourer, with a solid understanding of safe systems of work and a working knowledge of multiple disciplines within the construction industry.

Skills

You are expected to operate effectively as a competent person, understand the requirements and implications of RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements), and demonstrate a thorough understanding of safe systems of work.

Driving Licence

Full UK valid driving licence required.
