Overview

Build Recruitment is looking for a Carpenter Multi based in Bedford for a temporary‑to‑permanent role. This position supports social housing properties across Bedford, providing general carpentry repairs and basic multi‑trade work.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Carry out general carpentry repairs in occupied and void social housing properties, including doors, skirting, floors, locks, etc.
• Repair or replace kitchen units, worktops, door frames, and window boards.
• Provide basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, or decorating to finish jobs to a good standard.
• Identify and report any additional works or materials needed on site.
• Ensure all work is done safely, following health & safety guidelines.
• Keep tenants informed on progress and maintain good customer service.

Qualifications
