Multi skilled welder and fabricator role

Join us to apply for the Multi skilled welder and fabricator position at NBT Brunei (Inchcape).

Role Overview

Position: Welder and Fabricator
Location: Near Lowestoft, Suffolk
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, plus overtime
Pay rate: Up to £24.00 per hour
Position type: Temporary to Permanent

About the Role

Our client, an established organization, is seeking to expand their workshop team with a skilled welder and fabricator. Candidates should be experienced with MIG and TIG welding, and proficient with Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Mild Steel materials.

Main Responsibilities

1. Transform raw materials into finished products through cutting, bending, welding, and shaping metals.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings to meet specifications and dimensions.
3. Operate various power and hand tools, such as grinders, saws, and drills.
4. Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards.
5. Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.
6. Participate in team meetings, providing project updates and collaborating to meet deadlines and budgets.

Candidate Attributes

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to specifications.
• Flexibility in working hours as required by the client.
• Valid driving license due to the location of the premises.
