About the Role

This Position reports to: Warehouse Supervisor. In this role you will assist the Team Leader in the day‑to‑day running of the warehouse operations from inbound to outbound. Provide effective communication, be motivated, self‑driven and follow the ABB way. Our teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe work environment, ensuring that all training in relation to Health & Safety is adhered to.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation; ensure all waste material is disposed of correctly.
  • Ensure 100% delivery on time in full to delivery date.
  • Liaise with Inventory SCS to ensure stock items are placed in the correct storage bins, providing an efficient pick and pack operation.
  • Report any personal injury, accident or damage to any equipment, machinery or premises immediately.
  • Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure all inbound deliveries and outbound deliveries are processed accurately on time and stock is available within 24 hrs or less.
  • Assist Inventory SCS to complete cycle count stock checks as and when required.
  • Operate IT systems as required.
  • Ensure all customer orders are picked and packed accurately on time and in full.
  • Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment in line with Safe Working Practices.
