Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Multi-skilled Static Engineer for large commercial offices in Manchester. This role involves facilities maintenance including emergency lighting, HVAC systems, and plumbing. Candidates should possess a recognized trade qualification and have experience with BMES systems. Strong fault-finding skills are also essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance including emergency lighting and electrical works.
• Ability to conduct AHU servicing and maintenance.
• Knowledge of SFG20 regulations for statutory PPMs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair various systems and equipment in commercial settings.
• Manage subcontractors during site works.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all tasks completed.

Skills

Understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems

Multi-skilled Static Engineer - Large commercial offices in Manchester

Main duties and responsibilities

• Facilities Maintenance including but not exclusive to:
• Emergency lighting
• L8 Water Monitoring
• AHU Servicing and Maintenance
• Fan Coil Service and Maintenance
• Pump Servicing
• Minor Electrical Works
• Basic Plumbing inc taps, Syphons, Flush Valves, Waste pipework
• BMES interrogations inc Control Panels
• Statutory PPMs in line with SFG20
• Complete electronic and paper records of all tasks carried out and filed in the site log books
• Carry out housekeeping of all plant areas
• Manage subcontractors when working on site

Duties include

• An understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems
• 18th edition would be advantageous
• Experience of BMES systems
• Posses a recognised trade qualification
• A logical approach to fault finding
