Navigator Tissue UK Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to respond promptly to equipment failures, deliver the PPM schedule, and ensure statutory inspections are completed on time. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and implement root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence in a fast-paced tissue manufacturing setting.

The role requires PLC knowledge, monitoring of HMI controls, and a solid grasp of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including familiarity with 17th/18th Edition

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Knowledge of PLC and monitoring HMI controls.
• Good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiar with 17th/18th Edition electrical regulations.

Responsabilités

• Respond promptly to equipment failure notifications in line with Health & Safety procedures.
• Deliver and coordinate Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) with Engineering Supervisor.
• Complete all statutory inspections within required timeframes.
• Perform effective breakdown repairs and conduct Root Cause Analysis for corrective actions.
• Record remediation actions and progress for continual improvement.

Description du poste

You will respond promptly to equipment failure notifications, adhering to all Health & Safety procedures. In addition, you will also support the delivery of the PPM schedule in coordination with the Engineering Supervisor. You will deliver all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities on schedule, ensuring statutory inspections are completed within required timeframes and that any remedial actions are recorded and progressed. You will respond to breakdowns efficiently, carrying out effective repairs and completing thorough Root Cause Analysis to implement corrective and preventative actions.
With experience working in a fast-paced factory environment, you will have knowledge and practical experience of both planned and reactive maintenance and will be accustomed to fault finding and diagnostics. With PLC knowledge and experience of monitoring HMI controls, you will have good knowledge of 17th/18th Edition as well as a good understanding of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulics.
