Multi‑Skilled Project/Commissioning Technician

Electrical Bias

Responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of various systems and equipment, within an AD environment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will ensure that systems are installed correctly, function as intended, and meet all relevant safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and Assembly: Installing, assembling, and connecting mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components according to specifications and schematics.
• Testing and Commissioning: Conducting various tests to verify the functionality and performance of systems, including electrical testing, loop checks, and functional testing.
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing faults in systems and equipment, involving complex technical issues.
• Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining accurate records of testing, commissioning, and any repairs or modifications.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Training and Support: Providing guidance and support to other team members, potentially including training on new systems or procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, or equipment.
