Multi‑Skilled Project/Commissioning Technician
Electrical Bias
Responsible for the installation, testing, and commissioning of various systems and equipment, within an AD environment. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will ensure that systems are installed correctly, function as intended, and meet all relevant safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Assembly: Installing, assembling, and connecting mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic components according to specifications and schematics.
- Testing and Commissioning: Conducting various tests to verify the functionality and performance of systems, including electrical testing, loop checks, and functional testing.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and repairing faults in systems and equipment, involving complex technical issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining accurate records of testing, commissioning, and any repairs or modifications.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Working effectively with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Training and Support: Providing guidance and support to other team members, potentially including training on new systems or procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, or equipment.

Essential Skills
- Industry Experience: Must have extensive experience working within a process environment, ideally with an AD background.

- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate installation and testing of systems.
- Safety Awareness: Prioritizing safety in all work activities.

NE Based – Flexibility required for working hours/locations.
Salary – £35 000 to £40 000 + company benefits – work vehicle.
