A community housing service provider in Oldham is seeking a Multi Skilled Plumber to deliver excellent plumbing services in their homes. This full-time role offers a competitive starting salary that rises after probation, generous annual leave, benefits including a pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development. Candidates should have an NVQ Level 2 in plumbing and a full clean driving license.
You will be responsible for providing a first class plumbing service to all our customers in their homes.
Starting salary 32829 rising to 34557 on successful completion of 6 month probation period.
Oldham
39 hour week: 8am-4:30pm Monday‑Thursday & 8am-3:30pm Friday.
Start at 26 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days plus bank holidays.
Van and fuel card, uniform & tools provided.
Key must haves: full clean driving licence, NVQ level 2 in plumbing or equivalent.
You will need to be able to drive a Great Places Van.

Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
Ability to manage your own time and work to deadlines.
Similar experience ideal but not essential.
Demonstrate a positive can‑do attitude and a flexible approach to the working day.
You will assist with providing a first class plumbing service in respect of the maintenance of all domestic sanitary appliances (eg bathrooms, sinks, taps, drainage, etc.) to all our homes, maintaining a high standard of workmanship in the area.
Ensure that all work undertaken is completed with due regard for quality, productivity and safety.
Have good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy and reactive workload.
Demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude.
Demonstrate reliability, initiative, ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
You will communicate with customers and colleagues effectively.
Treat the homes with respect and maintain high standards of health and safety & report any concerns to your line manager.
You will look after the equipment provided to you, keeping it clean and fit for working condition.

To use the van fleet insurance, you must have a minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over 21 and complete an online driver monitoring assessment prior to starting. If you are under 21 with 2 years of driving experience, you will also be required to complete an online driver monitoring assessment and an additional in‑vehicle assessment funded by Great Places.
