A leading food solutions company near Sittingbourne is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator to engage in quality control and production tasks. The ideal candidate will monitor product quality, produce labels, and work on an Apple Production line. Applicants should bring a strong sense of numeracy and literacy along with previous FMCG or food manufacturing experience. To strengthen our team in Puratos Fourayes, near Sittingbourne, Kent, we are looking for a:
Reporting to the Technical Manager and working in conjunction with the production supervisors, the successful candidate has a hybrid role, sometimes performing the duties of a Quality Controller and at other times working on our Apple Production Line as a Production Operative. When acting as a Quality Controller they will be responsible for accurate labelling of the finished products (fillings/jams/mincemeats), following the production plan and ensuring that the customers’ food safety and quality expectations are met. When acting as a Production Operative the successful candidate will work in a variety of roles on our Apple Production line, following the production plan and ensuring that the product is manufactured safely and efficiently to achieve the customers’ delivery and quality expectations.
