Portakabin Ltd on-site refurbishment and fit-out roles involve carrying out skilled tasks to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and time goals. You will follow RAMS, SOPs and technical instructions, applying basic tool knowledge to support efficient delivery.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safe working practices, and the ability to read technical docs while performing across a range of semi-skilled activities. A practical, safety-conscious mindset is essential.

Formación

• Experience in operational environments with semi-skilled tasks.
• Training and supervision develop practical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as SOPs, RAMS and Method Statements.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment.
• Follow technical instructions, RAMS and company procedures to complete work safely and to the required quality.
• Carry out refurbishment and fit-out activities following technical specifications and SOPs.
• Support colleagues by assisting across the team and with tasks outside own experience where qualified.
• Escalate issues promptly when they cannot be resolved.

These roles will play a critical part in carrying out refurbishment and fit-out of buildings; ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, supporting on‑time and cost‑effective delivery for customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant working environment, in line with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Follow technical instructions, RAMS and company procedures to complete work safely, efficiently and to the required quality.
• Carry out refurbishment and fit-out activities following technical specifications, SOPs, RAMS and company procedures, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality.
• Support colleagues by assisting with activities across the team, supporting activities outside own experience where qualified or experienced to do so.
• Contribute to team delivery by working collaboratively and escalating issues promptly where they cannot be resolved.

Experience, skills & qualifications

• Experience gained in operational environments, working across a variety of semi‑skilled activities.
• Practical skills are acquired through training and supervised application.
• Basic knowledge of tools, equipment and materials, with experience of using them safely.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Holds Slinger / Signaller ticket & CSCS card - desirable
