Job summary

Artic Building Services is seeking a Multiskilled Mobile Engineer to perform maintenance and reactive tasks on client sites across various locations. The role requires robust HVAC knowledge, AHU/FCU experience, and the ability to manage time and paperwork efficiently.

You will use client portals and CAFM systems, produce reports for additional works, and liaise with clients and contract managers. A flexible approach and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Industry qualifications and a continuous HVAC/building services track record.
• Experience in HVAC/building services environments and AHU/FCU handling.
• Ability to develop, manage time, and handle paperwork on site.
• Willingness to build long-term client relationships and identify additional works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks on client site.
• Complete PDA tasks including Risk Assessments.
• Use client portal and CAFM system as required.
• Provide reports for further works and liaise with clients.
• Update contract managers with site information.
• Inform admin of site/plant changes; manage assets.
• Collect parts from suppliers/head office as needed.
• Submit weekly timesheet on Monday.

Skills Required:

• Industry qualifications.
• Comprehensive working experience from an HVAC and Building Services environment.
• A continuous history of employment within the HVAC and Building Services industry.
• Must have Boiler, AC and Electrical knowledge.
• Other skills preferable, mechanical, basic electrical, basic plumbing, Identification and adaptability. Must have experience with AHU’s and FCU’s
• Ability to develop and be part of a team. Manage their own time, works and paperwork.
• Capable of building long term relationships with clients both of existing and prospective
• Positive attitude “can do will do”.
• Flexible in approach to hours and solving problems on site
• Commercially astute, driven to identify and generate additional works / sales
• Provide technical support to administration staff as required.

Job Duties:

Carry out maintenance and reactive tasks to plant on client site

• Complete all relevant job tasks on PDA including Risk Assessments
• Use client portal and CAFM system if required
• Provide Further works reports where required
• Liaise with the client concerning work completed and any further works required
• Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
• Inform administrator of any site or plant changes / site plant asset management
• Collecting parts from supplier or head office where applicable
• Provide weekly timesheet to office on a Monday
