A leading facilities management company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer in Oxford to maintain and repair essential systems. Candidates should have relevant qualifications, IT literacy, and strong communication skills. This role entails providing excellent service to clients, completing documentation, and participating in the On-Call Rota. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to maintain and repair installations such as ventilation systems — (AHU, Intake/extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.), and water system assets, such as booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters.
You should be capable of delivering the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting any defects, and keeping them informed of site activities at the time of the service visit. You will also be required to complete all work‑related documentation accurately and on time, keeping a log of inspection reports and remedial work.
You must hold a valid full driving licence and be IT literate. You should have the capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces as well as a willingness to participate in the On‑Call Rota. You must have good verbal and written communication and the ability to use a mobile device.
