Job summary

ETS Consulting Ltd in Kendal is seeking an Apprentice Trained Engineer to join the maintenance team. You will service high-speed automated equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety, with PLC knowledge essential.

Role covers fault diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and project work across washers, presses, conveyors, dryers, and related systems, plus water/boiler plant upkeep. Training opportunities will broaden your skills.

Qualifications

• Apprentice Trained Engineer with electrical/ mechanical background.
• Experience with PLC systems and automated machinery.
• Understanding of PPM systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance to high standards.
• Carry out fault diagnostics and repair of automated machines and processes.
• Support planned preventative maintenance and project-based work in a high-speed automated environment.
• Maintain water filtration and boiler-related plant and boilers.
