Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Coleshill is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure operational efficiency at a busy distribution site. You will work night shifts and be responsible for preventative maintenance, quick breakdown response, and supervising contractors. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 qualification in electrical and mechanical disciplines, along with experience in maintenance engineering and automation. Competitive salary offers included.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Coleshill, Birmingham

Night Shift | Monday to Friday | 22:00 – 06:00

Salary: £50,000 per annum (including shift rate etc)

We're looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team at a busy distribution and automation site in Coleshill.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out PPM on automated conveyor and volume picking systems
• React quickly to breakdowns during operational hours
• Fault find and repair across electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
• Support and deliver technical projects across the operation
• Coordinate and supervise external contractors on-site
• Maintain facility standards and ensure safe working practices across the depot

What We're Looking For

• Level 3 Electrical and Mechanical qualification (or recognised equivalent)
• Experience in a maintenance engineering environment
• Previous work with automated conveyor or material handling systems ideal
• Confident in fault finding across mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment
• Desirable but not essential: IOSH / NEBOSH qualification
• Desirable but not essential: Experience leading or mentoring a small technical team
