Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Job Overview

Starting £56,097 per annum
Near to Callington, Cornwall
Shift pattern: Week 1 – Saturday to Monday and Week 2 – Saturday to Tuesday (apply online only)

Responsibilities

• Efficiently repair production machinery using reactive and preventative maintenance techniques
• Conduct PLC fault finding and demonstrate proficiency in electrical and mechanical principles
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the FMCG sector
• Relevant qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.)
• Possession of an 18th edition or any additional electrical qualifications is highly desirable
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commute within a reasonable distance of Callington, Cornwall
