Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a growing manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop within a supportive team and progress as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of production equipment.
  • Ensure all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve overall line efficiency.
  • Maintain best practices in health, safety, and environmental compliance.
The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone with a strong multi‑skilled background and a proactive, team‑oriented approach.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven electrical and mechanical fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Desirable Skills
  • Welding experience (advantageous but not essential).
  • Prior knowledge of plastics recycling and extrusion processes will be a distinct advantage.
