Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Days and Nights

Monday - Thursday

2 shift rotating pattern as below;

Week 1: (Mon - Wed, 6am - 6pm. Thursday 5:30am - 2:30pm)

Week 2: (Mon - Wed, 6pm - 6am. Thursday 1:30pm - 10:30pm)

Starting 49,962 per annum

Are you a seasoned Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within the FMCG space? If so, this opportunity might be perfect for you! We are currently seeking an individual with time served maintenance skills to join a renowned FMCG company near to Newport, Wales.

Responsibilities
  • Efficiently repair various production machinery using both reactive and preventative maintenance techniques, including motors, control panels and various systems
  • Confidence with PLC fault finding
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimise equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reports as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the FMCG sector.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering (BTEC, HNC, etc.).
  • Possession of an 18th edition or any additional electrical qualifications is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Commutable distance from near to Newport, Wales.
