Your new role

As a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of production equipment. You'll work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems—responding to breakdowns, performing planned maintenance, and supporting upgrades and installations.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across various systems.
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Support equipment installations, relocations, and modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote 5S principles.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to minimise downtime.

Shift pattern: Continental 12‑hour shifts: 4 days on, 4 off (6am-6pm) and 4 nights on, 4 off (6pm-6am).

What you'll need to succeed
  • NVQ, ONC, or City & Guilds qualification with a completed apprenticeship.
  • Minimum 1 year post‑apprenticeship experience in a maintenance role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Effective communication and time‑management skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach to problem‑solving.
